Following the publication of London Luton Airport's Draft Masterplan (Project 2030), ASA is providing technical advice to Luton Borough Council. The project involves an assessment of the proposed capital costs of each development option and their capacity implications.

ASA is part of a consortium selected to participate in two design competitions for new passenger terminals at Shenzhen and Kunming Airports in China. ASA is responsible for the traffic forecasts and the terminal sizing parameters.

As part of the New Partnership for African Development (NEPAD) Programme, ASA is reviewing a number of projects in the aviation sector including initiatives for the liberalisation of intra-regional air services, improved air safety and the introduction of GNSS and Upper Airspace Control Centres. The review is funded by the African Development Bank.

ASA is providing advisory services to the Government of Côte d'Ivoire and Abidjan International Airport for the privatisation of ground handling services at Abidjan Airport. The project involves an initial feasibility study and review of current ground handling operations, the preparation of tender documentation and the selection of and contractual negotiation with the proposed concessionaire.
March 2005
The Irish Commission for Aviation Regulation has appointed ASA to provide an assessment of future commercial revenue at Dublin Airport. The assessment, which covers airport retailing, food and beverage, property, car parking and all other aspects of commercial revenue, will be used by the Commission to set the price cap for the maximum level of airport charges at Dublin Airport.

ASA is providing technical advice to a consortium bidding for the acquisition of Exeter International Airport. The airport, which is being sold by Devon County Council, is one of just two regional airports in the UK still fully owned by local authorities.
