Following its preliminary feasibility study, ASA is undertaking an analysis of possible fleet options for a new start-up airline in West and Central Africa. The evaluation covers the cost and operational suitability of different aircraft types under ACMI, longer-term operating lease and lease-purchase options.

ASA is preparing an assessment of the noise impact of a second runway at Manchester International Airport. The analysis will be used to support a claim by local residents under Part 1 of the Land Tribunal Act.

As part of the Planning Application, ASA is evaluating the operating implications of relocating the runway strip at Old Sarum aerodrome in Hampshire. It is proposed that the aerodrome is redeveloped as a heritage site whilst still retaining its aviation and flight training activities.
