West African Start-up Airline
ASA has been commissioned by a consortium of investment banks to carry out a major feasibility study for a new regional and long-haul international airline in West and Central Africa. The new multi-national airline, which would replace Air Afrique, is supported by the Heads of State in the region. The consortium, designated as SPCAR (Société de Promotion d’une Compagnie Aérienne Régionale), includes three of the region’s largest banks, Ecobank, BOAD and BIDC.
