by Peter Forbes on September 1, 2026 No comments

Working in conjunction with Arcadis, ASA is undertaking an Aviation Impacts Assessment for a proposed new approx 50km (31 mile) overhead power line (OHL) for Green GEN Cymru between near Cefn Coch in Powys and Lower Frankton in Shropshire. The project, which follows similar assessments carried out by ASA for new OHLs between Norwich and Tilbury in East Anglia and Grimsby to Walpole in Lincolnshire, involves consultation with stakeholders to evaluate any possible operational impacts for fixed wing aircraft, helicopters, ballooning, model aircraft and drone flying in the area.
