Airports and airfields need to safeguard their operations which can be impacted by nearby development.
This includes the provision of obstacle clearance limits, the technical safeguarding of navigational aids and the creation of Public Safety Zones (PSZs).
ASA provides advice on obstacle clearance requirements in accordance with CAA criteria. Safeguarding and PSZ maps can also be produced.
